SM6524---Standalone Linear Li-Lon Battery Charger with Thermal Regulation
 Description
     The SM6524 is a completeconstant-current/constant voltage linear chargerfor single cell lithium-ion batteries. Its packageand low external component count make the SM6524 ideally suited for portable applications.Furthermore, the SM6524 is specificallydesigned to work within USB powerspecifications.No external sense resistor is needed, and noblocking diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V, and the charge current can be programmed externally with a single resistor.The SM6524 automatically terminates the
charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10th the programmed value after the final float voltage is reached.The SM6524 converters are available in the industry standard SOT-23-6L power packages (or upon request).
